God continues to do wonders among our HIM families all over the world. This week, we would like to bring your attention to our family in Hope Puchong, as they share about how they have tasted the goodness of God this year. Thomas and Fiu See from Hope Puchong shared that they recently have been blessed with six new converts in the church, from three different families!
Among these six are two sisters named Michelle and Joanne. Recently, Michelle has been unwell and had to be admitted in the hospital for over two weeks. Even the doctors could not figure out what was wrong, and the family was facing a difficult time. But it was at this moment that her mother found an old Christmas gift, with the contact number for Hope Puchong.
When Michelle’s mother reached out, she connected with Rebecca from Hope Puchong. Rebecca and the team from Hope Puchong went out to visit Michelle and pray for her while Kelly, another Hope Puchong member led the entire church to join in prayer. And God supernaturally healed Michelle! It was such an amazing recovery that even the doctors were stunned! One of the doctors asked Michelle if she has been taking any new medications, and were surprised to find that she has only been taking Panadol (paracetamol). The doctor had no other way but to acknowledge that it was a supernatural healing, saying that, “It Must be God!”
One of the other converts is an elderly lady who is just referred to affectionately as “Auntie”. She is around 70 years old and has been going through many struggles, especially after losing her husband earlier this year. She had come to know the Lord some time ago, but only recently returned to church, bringing her daughter along.
This time however, there was a huge transformation in her. Gone is the depressed demeanor she had from her struggles in life, and now she is filled with joy from the Lord, so full of life! So much so that Auntie even broke down in tears of joy during one of the Hope Puchong services! In fact, during the Good Friday service, Auntie was touched by the Holy Spirit and set free, saying that she could sleep well every night since then. Now Auntie is a joyous part of the church fellowship, waking up early to cook and bring food to the church family so that they can all have lunch together. Thank God for such a wonderful change in Auntie’s life!
These are only some of the wonderful things happening in Hope Puchong. Previously in the first quarter of 2025, Hope Puchong was averaging about 60 plus people in attendance, adults and children included. However, since April, God has been bringing more people to church, now averaging from 72 to 80 people! And the glory of this tremendous growth belongs only to God!
Despite all the challenges, the hard work, and the heartaches, God has been so gracious and good to Hope Puchong. Thomas and Fiu See are also very thankful for the amazing team in Hope Puchong that is united like a family to serve God’s Kingdom. Together, they continue to press on as a church, believing that more souls will be added unto them. Let us as the global HIM family join them in prayer for an even greater breakthrough in Hope Puchong this year!
God has truly been working amidst Hope Puchong. The stories shared today are only some of the testimonies of God’s power. The miracles were God’s doing, and all Hope Puchong did was to obey Him.
It is all God, and we need more of Him in our midst.
